As Project Manager, you and your desk colleagues are in charge of successfully completing translation projects from start to finish. You are the point of contact for the client and translators, from the initial contact and the quotation up until delivery of the final product. Our clients have everything translated – from a sport brand’s latest offering to manuals and software for a big electronics firm. You demonstrate excellent decision-making and enlist the right tools and translators for your projects.
You have an affinity with the retail and technical sector. You can be relied on and are discreet. You effortlessly switch between different tools and projects. You take time to forge a close relationship with both clients and translators. After all, only when you truly know your clients and translators can you ensure delivery of a final product that fully meets the client’s expectations.
You have completed at minimum a bachelor’s degree (HBO).
You have relevant internship or work experience.
You have excellent communicative skills, in both Dutch and English.
You have a commercial mindset and affinity with the retail and technical sector.
You can quickly master the ins & outs of new software.
Experience with CAT tools (memoQ, SDL Trados Studio) is preferred.
You are solution-oriented.
You are capable of having conversations at different levels.
You have a positive attitude and are a team player.
